15:30 --- Beyond transfusion: Evolving strategies in the management of Rh-D alloimmunization (Dr. K. Wong and Dr. K. Fung Kee Fung (moderator))

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
  • Discuss the use of alternatives to intrauterine blood transfusion for managing red cell alloimmunization;
  • Explain the current clinical evidence for nipocalimab, IVIG, and plasmapheresis in treating Rh-D alloimmunization;
  • Apply strategies to scenarios where transfusion is not feasible.

  • Define which women with endometrial cancer and atypical hyperplasia meet the criteria for fertility preservation using progestin therapy;
  • Describe the collaborative and multi-disciplinary onco-fertility program to care for women with endometrial cancer and atypical hyperplasia;
  • Understand the oncologic and fertility outcomes and toxicity of various types of fertility preserving treatment;
  • Recognize the importance of specific molecular characteristics of endometrial cancer in predicting complete and durable response to progestin therapy.
