By the end of this online course, participants should be able to define medical abortion, to describe the incidence of both induced abortion and medical abortion in Canada, to identify differences in abortion access between and within the provinces and territories of Canada and to understand the need for a combination regimen of mifepristone/misoprostol in Canada.


This activity was created in partnership with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) and is an Accredited Self-Assessment Program (Section 3) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada. You may claim a maximum of 4.0 hours for this course
