Speaker Profile

Sebastian is an Australian-trained Obstetrician & Gynaecologist who has particular clinical and research interests in invasive placentation. He completed medical school and specialist ObGyn training at Monash Health & Monash University in Melbourne whilst simultaneously completing an MPH. After further training in maternal fetal medicine and gynaecologic oncology surgery, Sebastian has recently taken up a Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital and the University of Toronto. He is also in the final stages of submission of his PhD which explored pathophysiology and novel treatments in preeclampsia.
