Speaker Profile

Kristin Black is Cree-Métis from Saskatoon and considers the Treaty 6 Territory and traditional homeland of the Métis Nation her home. She completed her undergraduate degree in biochemistry and medical degree at the University of Saskatchewan, and is currently a 5th year Obstetrics and Gynecology resident at the University of Alberta. She has had the privilege of learning from Indigenous patients, communities, and colleagues during her residency training in Edmonton.
