First Basic Colposcopy Course June 17, 2009 Halifax, NS This year the Society of Canadian Colposcopists prepared and presented our first basic colposcopy course. Thirty three people were registered, the maximum number that we could accommodate. Didactic lectures were presented in the morning followed after lunch by practical and hands-on experience in the laboratory. Several different colposcopes were available for learners to use along with different biopsy instruments and instrumentation to practice loop electrical excision procedures. The SCC Executive is pleased to say that there will be another Basic Colposcopy Course available again this year at the Annual Clinical Meeting in Montreal.
