H1N1

A second wave of the H1N1 flu virus is expected to affect Canadians as we enter flu season. The first wave of the virus revealed that the effects of H1N1 are particularly devastating for three segments of the population: children, pregnant women, and Aboriginal Canadians. Given our mandate, the SOGC wants to be actively involved in preventing and reducing the risks of a flu pandemic in Canada.
