International Women's Health Day

Thursday, June 21

As a lead up to the 3rd Decennial Global Safe Motherhood Conference being hosted in London, England in October 2007, the International Women's Health Symposium will focus on themes identified for the Global Conference - including women as agents of social change. The Symposium will explore issues of maternal and newborn health and reflect on the challenges faced over the last 20 years, as well as looking forward to ongoing successful interventions, including the important role of professional associations.
