Grants, Awards, and Fellowships

Awards

Submissions

Nominations and applications are to be submitted to the SOGC's National Office. Eligible applications must meet all listed criteria and must be dully completed.

Due Date

Applications must be postmarked no later than the deadline date as indicated for each award. Entries received past the deadline will not be considered.

Judging

Each member of the Awards Committee shall be given an opportunity to review the applications, and to approve or disapprove of the Award according to pre-established selection criteria.

Award

Awards are limited to those listed and can be cancelled, restricted or modified without notice. The awards may be dependent of funding.

Presentation

Shall be at the Awards Ceremony of the SOGC's Annual Clinical Meeting (ACM) unless otherwise specified. A summary of the recipient's biography and activities may be requested for the award presentation.

Recipient Information

The SOGC reserves the right to publish a recipient's name, occupation, picture and description of project/accomplishments.

Disclosure

Applicants receiving additional subsidies or grants for the intended project are to identify these in the application.

Waiting Period

Previous awardees can re-apply for the same award after a three year waiting period. Unsuccessful applicants are encouraged to update their application and re-submit it for consideration in the following iteration.

Amendments

Awards may be modified or cancelled at the SOGC's discretion.
