Canadian Foundation for Women's Health Annual Research Grants

Description

The Canadian Foundation for Women's Health is dedicated to raising funds for research in women's health and as such, the goal of the Foundation is to ensure that women's interests and concerns are represented in medical research and in the search of scientific knowledge. An annual grants competition fulfils this mandate.

Award

The amount of funding varies from year to year. The Foundation's Website indicates information on selection guidelines and available grants. A plaque is presented at the SOGC's Annual Clinical Meeting.

Eligibility

• Must be affiliated with a Canadian university or health care institution able to provide ethics review in compliance with Canadian standards.
• Research projects directly related to women's health will be considered.

Application deadline

The deadline is the first week of February. Visit the Canadian Foundation for Women's Health Website for updated deadlines.

Selection

Applications are reviewed by peer reviewers identified by the Grants Committee of the Canadian Foundation for Women's Health. Awarding of the grant is based on the highest score received.
