Cannell Lecturer

Description

The Canadian Foundation for Women's Health sponsors the annual Cannell Lecture in memory of Dr. Douglas E. Cannell in honour of his tremendous contributions to obstetrics and gynaecology. The Cannell Lectureship is held during the SOGC's Annual Clinical Meeting.

Award

The guest lecturer is given a $1,000 honorarium and awarded a plaque. The recipient's name will also appear on a plaque located in the SOGC's National Office.

Eligibility

Open to any speaker in the world who has made significant contributions to women's health.

Application deadline

Not applicable.

Nomination and selection

The lecturer is chosen by the Cannell Lecture Committee in September of each year.
