The SOGC’s Dr. Diane Francoeur recently spoke to Matt Galloway, host of CBC Radio One’s The Current about the many issues affecting women’s health such as, longer waiting times for PAP test, HPV test and vaccines.
“During the pandemic, the burden on women’s shoulders was really so big and we’re not out of it. Because of all this waiting time for tests, for appointments, for surgeries, for care, is having a detrimental effect on their health. I think we need to speak about it, so someone hears us and gives us better access.” (Dr. Francoeur)
