Biography
Dr. Kristin Horsley received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Calgary and PhD in Clinical Health Psychology from McGill University. She is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at McMaster University and has a specific interest in understanding the psychological consequences of severe maternal morbidity, and in how to improve access to mental health screening, psychosocial assessment, and evidence-based treatments for this at-risk group. Dr. Horsley is a passionate advocate for the meaningful integration of clinical psychologists into high-risk obstetrical settings to improve knowledge translation from psychology to medicine, increase organizational research capacity, and improve clinical care.
