Biography
Farhan Bhanji, MD, MSc (Ed), FRCPC, FAHA is a Professor of Pediatrics (Critical Care) at McGill University and the Director of Education at the Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning. He is also the Associate Director of Examination Strategy (where he supports over 120 examinations in 68 Specialties). He serves as the education lead in Resuscitation for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and was recently the Chair of the Education Committee for Emergency Cardiovascular Care at the American Heart Association (which supports the training for over 20 million learners per year worldwide). Farhan is an active researcher with 150 publications and abstract presentations and has previously served as the Director of the Fellowship in Health Professions Education and the inaugural Richard and Sylvia Cruess Faculty Scholar in Medical Education at McGill. He also served as a Visiting Professor in-residence at the Medical Education Development Center of Gifu University, Japan.
