Biography
Dr. Shirley Lee completed her medical degree at Western University, followed by her certification in family and emergency medicine at the University of Ottawa, and a masters in education at the University of Toronto. She is an associate professor at the University of Toronto and has served in many capacities in medical education at the undergraduate, postgraduate and faculty development level. Nationally, she has served with organizations such as the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians (CAEP), the Canadian Association of Medical Education (CAME), the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). She continues to practice emergency medicine part-time at the University of Ottawa. She joined the CMPA in 2016.
