Biography
Dr. Rahim Dhalla, Pharm.D., MBA, RPh Owner/Founder @HybridPharm Dr. Rahim Dhalla is a clinical pharmacist licensed in Ontario, Hawaii, Massachusetts and Rhode Island with a specialty in compounding and cannabinoid therapy. Born into a family of medicine and entrepreneurship, Dr. Dhalla established Hybrid Pharm in 2018 leading Canada in its first cannabis-specialty compounding pharmacy with the goal to help patients use cannabis safely and effectively. Dr. Dhalla graduated in 2009 from Boston’s Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science. After working pharmacy retail for Wal-Mart and Target Pharmacies, Rahim went on to complete an MBA at Bryant University in 2012. Upon returning home to run the family business, Rahim’s father was diagnosed with colon cancer and sold the long-established family practice. It was through this experience that hybridpharm was born. Since its inception, Dr. Dhalla has received certifications in non-sterile compounding, medical cannabis consultation and has educated numerous healthcare practitioners on cannabinoid therapy such as CanSage, OCPhA, O’Cannabiz, Bruyere Hospital, Epilepsy Ottawa, London Drugs and various Licensed Producers. Hybridpharm has been featured in Pharmacy Business and Practice and Ontario Pharmacist Association Magazine, discussing the future of medical cannabis and the ever-changing landscape of pharmacy.
