Dr. Poliquin attended medical school at the University of Western Ontario and completed her residency training at the University of Manitoba. Following residency, Dr. Poliquin pursued a fellowship in Reproductive Infectious Diseases with training distributed between Winnipeg, Vancouver and Toronto. Presently, she is an Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba and has a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology through the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. Dr. Poliquin is the obstetrician-gynecologist and reproductive infectious diseases specialist working out of Winnipeg Health Sciences. She is co-Chair of the SOGC’s Infectious Diseases Committee and has co-authored a number of national guidelines including the majority of guidance documents about COVID-19 available through the SOGC website. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Manitoba and her research interests focus on immunization during pregnancy and vaginal health and vaginitis.
