Biography
Stephanie Cooper is a high-risk obstetrician and Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist in Calgary, Alberta. She did her undergraduate medical training at Memorial University in Newfoundland, followed by residency and fellowship training in Calgary. Dr. Cooper currently practices at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, and has a longstanding interest in continuing medical education, quality assurance and improvement in Obstetrics. She has previously been the chair for West-Central SOGC and as well as the Maternal-Fetal Medicine guidelines committee for SOGC. Currently, her clinical and research interests include maternal morbidity and enhancing the quality of care for all pregnant women in Alberta. Dr. Cooper is the Clinical Knowledge Lead for Women's Health for Alberta's Connect Care universal EMR project.
