Prenatal Testing After IVF for Aneuploidy

Prenatal Testing After IVF for Aneuploidy
In vitro fertilization to conceive is increasing, and it is important that established criteria and effective methodologies are known and available to select the most suitable embryo(s) to transfer. This committee opinion reviews preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A), including the approach to screening and diagnosis for chromosomal abnormalities in pregnancies conceived through in virto fertilization. After reviewing the committee opinion, SOGC members may complete the Guideline Resource Kit which includes an online quiz that will contribute towards continuing medical education credits, and download resources such as a brief patient conversation guide.
