Management of Gestational Trophoblastic Diseases

Management of Gestational Trophoblastic Diseases
Gestational Trophoblastic Diseases impact approximately 1 in 1000 pregnancies. This guideline reviews the clinical evaluation and management of gestational trophoblastic diseases in order to assist healthcare providers with appropriate and efficient diagnosis, standardized treatment and follow up. Following evidence-based best practice guidelines, these recommendations can help deliver early specialized care to patients with malignant or metastatic disease. After reviewing the guideline, SOGC members may complete the Guideline Resource Kit which includes an online quiz that will contribute towards continuing medical education credits, and download resources including a one-page summary of the prognostic scoring system.
