Natural Sights
See the sights! Explore natural wonders throughout Arikok National Park (20km from Westin), Casibari and Ayo rock formations and Indian caves. Walk through history at the Bushiribana gold mill (15km from Westin), Alto Vista Chapel (8km from Westin) and the museums in downtown Oranjestad (7km from Westin). Fascinating attractions include arts galleries, the Butterfly Farm, Ostrich Farm, Donkey Sanctuary and Aruba Aloe factory.

Paseo Herencia Mall (1km from Westin, pictured here on the right) entertains shoppers with liquid fireworks, synchronized swimmers, Carnaval shows, live music and six movie theatres while they explore the eclectic roster of fifty retail stores and seven restaurants. The entire center is indeed a “walk through history” and is dedicated to Juan Chabaya “Padu” Lampe, Aruba’s legendary composer and musician; the amphitheatre is named after Edgar Connor, father of steel pan music. Restaurants serve everything from Belgian waffles and frites, ice cream, sushi and Caribbean seafood to burgers, fajitas and ribs.

Active Activities
For wet 'n wild fun, rent a jet-ski, paddleboat, wave-runner, banana boat or tube, or visit De Palm Island's water park (17km from Westin). Fisherman Huts (1km from Westin) is a mecca for windsurfing and kitesurfing. Hop aboard a pleasure boat, luxurious catamaran, or fishing yacht. The south coast is a coral reef with over twenty dive sites and eleven diver-friendly wrecks.
