CSMFM Clinical Trials / Network
Planning Meeting
Tuesday, June 19 from 09:00 – 16:00
The Westin Ottawa
This meeting is timely as the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) has just released the CIHR Roadmap and the reviews for each of the institutes. This information will help shape the day and the discussion as the Canadian Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine (CSMFM) looks to build an maternal fetal medicine research network.
The goal of this meeting would be to develop a Canadian Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinical Trials Network with inclusivity, collaboration, research expertise and mentoring which would allow sustainable and quality perinatal research for Canadian women and their reproductive/fetal/family needs.
The objective would be for each experienced faculty researcher attending the meeting to bring along a resident, fellow or junior faculty for mentoring, learning, introduction and exposure to research opportunities. The cost for participants will be $75 per person, which will include meeting material, health breaks and lunch.
Please click here to register - NOTE: This meeting is in addition to the SOGC's Annual Clinical Meeting (ACM). The $75 fee does not include ACM Registration and participants do not have to register for the ACM to attend this meeting.
