Following this module, participants will be able:
Summarize the prevalence and incidence of HPV and cervical cancer
Describe how HPV evades the immune system and progresses to cervical cancer
Evaluate cervical cancer prevention options for females of all ages
Evaluate current and future clinical information about cervical cancer prevention vaccines
Establish an effective clinical strategy to prevent cervical cancer
You will manage through office visits by selecting assessments and then treatments. Throughout the program you will be provided with links to relevant learning resources.
This program meets the accreditation criteria of The College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been accredited for up to 0.5 Mainpro-M1 credits per patient. This online CME event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
